Is the light gentle enough for a nursery?
The warm light is soft and flicker-free, and the manufacturer lists it as free of blue-light hazard. The body is ABS plastic and silicone. As with any plug-in lamp, keep the lamp and the USB adapter it’s plugged into out of a baby’s reach.
Is it rechargeable?
No — there’s no battery. It runs while plugged into a USB-A port (5 V ⎓ 1 A): a phone charger, laptop or power bank. Nothing to charge. USB-C-only devices need a small adapter.
How do the star projections work?
The lamp comes with 6 sky discs: Thunderstorm, Kun (a whale among the stars), Brilliant Star River, Saturn, Milky Way Tree Shadow and Angel. Darken the room, pop a disc in, bend the neck so the lens faces the ceiling, then twist the focus ring until the stars look sharp.
Can the warm light and the stars be on together?
No — it’s one mode at a time. Tap once for the warm night light, twice for the starry sky, three times for off.
Does it play music or white noise?
No — it’s a light only, with no sound.
Is there a remote, an app or a timer?
No. Everything is one touch button on the lamp — no app and nothing to pair.
Where does it plug in? Will it reach my nightstand?
The lamp plugs straight into a USB-A port on its 20 cm (about 8 in) bendable silicone neck — there’s no separate cord, so it needs a USB-A port within about 20 cm of where it sits. Use a USB-A phone charger in a nearby outlet, a power strip with USB-A ports, a laptop or a power bank. A wall adapter isn’t included.
Can I leave it on all night?
It’s made to be used as a night light and draws just 3 W, so a whole 8-hour night uses about 0.024 kWh.
